Help for map with lace museums

This page is a tutorial for an interactive map.

purple marker Select a marker like this one, or select a line from the list for details and links.
red marker Select a marker like this one to zoom in, these markers hide more entries.
+/- This element on the map is another zooming instrument, like the scroll-wheel of the mouse. Double clicking on the map zooms in. Double right clicking on the map zooms out. The button between the arrows resets the zoom.
When the mouse pointer becomes an open hand (as opposed to a pointing finger) you can drag the map. You can also pan the map using the arrows.
in the pop up with details
arrow out of box Link to an untranslated external website.
alpha -> a Link to a translated external website. A website might not be fully functional within the translator.

Add an exhibition in three steps

  1. Fill in the form. "verplicht" means "mandatory", "naam" means "name", "adres" means "address". The field "toelichting" is meant for opening hours and the start and end dates of temporary exhibitions, as far as not available on the site linked to.
  2. Press the button "ga naar stap 2". A big green marker appears on the map with further instructions in the corresponding pop-up. In case of an ambiguous address you can select another one from the bulleted links on the left. If the adddress is OK, zoom in to place the marker exactly on the building.
  3. When the program is satisfied with the zoom level, and the marker is not too close to another marker, a submit button appears. The submit button is labeled "vezend". Pleas first verify the text, and verify if the link works. It will appear in another tab or window of your browser.
After submission the new entry will appear on top of the list.

Correction needed?

Did you make a mistake? A link is not working any more? Did someone else place incorrect or outdated details? Did a museum close down or move to another location? Did someone place off-topic content? Did the moderator forget to remove a temporary exhibition that is now past?

Select the entry via its marker on map or a line in the list. At the bottom of the pop-up you find a link "contact", "neem contact op over dit item" means: "contact the moderator about this entry". Fill in and submit the form. If applicable you can add an improved entry yourself, then the moderator only needs to delete the old version.
